Hi there,
I have just joined this forum, my name is tim and i will be owning a brand new Nissan Patrol ST-L, have owned one before but that was a long time ago, currently my partner and my 2 kids Max and Ava drive around in a little Xtrail which has been good to us and has been to some pretty bad places but has lived to tell the story.
I have been in Darwin for 6 years and I am also on another Forum which is FFF fishing Forum, Keen as to get out in the new Patrol and test her out, looking forward to meeting some fellow Forum members and having some fun with the carsand making new friends, I am also a keen bow hunter and Golfer so if ya keen for a hit or a hunt give us a bell.
Timmo.

Finaly got the Patrol on friday went straight to the MVR for compliance check and then paid the rego got away with it for 2108.00 all up including stamp duty and 12 months rego. first trip was out to the Maraki crossing just to get the feel of it and to get the fuel and oil pumping around the engine was a good drive lots of water around stopped of at the culvert for a fish but due to neap tides no fish.........push on to the next big river i think its the Margrete river and didnt go any further had a flick around there but just lost a lure other than that went out to Telstra hill for a quick play.
only mod im going to do will be fitting a snorkelon it and maybe a lift when i can afford it, the patrol will be my daily driver and its more just getting me to my hunting spots and towing the boat with the occasional play session, hope to meet some of you out and about.
will put up some boring pics of it in the garage and out an about when i get out.
tim

Welcome to the site Tim... Sounds like your Happy with the Patrol, if it fits its purpose as you said no need to go crazy with it. Snorkel though I would say is a highly recommended addition up in the top end for sure. Especially the Safari branded ones...
