Tuff Truck was AWESOME!!! Best experence of my life!! As you may know now, yes I did commentate at the event and it was great. Working with the Express Publications team and the tuff truck team was fantastic. This year was a great family friendly event. More Darwin people should make the treck down there!!!!! And how many bogans got interviewed for the DVD and were asked what they like best so far about Tuff Truck and they replied with "getting pissed" or "drinking beer" PHOTOS PHOTOS.... Surely SiKid and Swamper are back and have some to put up.

Actually Mud Pig no bogans were interviewed and the emphasis on drinking and getting pissed has been stopped.
In case you missed it, Pete Antunac actually owns and runs Tuff Truck now and he has invested a lot of time, effort and money into improving the event so it is family friendly. So if you had gone, you would have also noticed a significant degrease in bogans and a pleasant improvement in family's this year.
Maybe if you make the trip one year you can come and say hi.

Yeah I would have loved to go, but I was first months into new job, I all ready had to give up my ACDC trip as well. Its hard to get time off when its not within the school holiday periods.

Nice to meet you guys.
Yeah it was shitloads different to previous years, there was still a fair amount of pissed bogans, but nothing in comparison to last year. There was noticably alot more kids and families there this year as well. It's amazing how Pete spun the event around in one go, I honestly thought it wouldn't work as well as it did.
It was also great to see two of the more budget style trucks in the top 3, pirates vitara and gympie offroads zook, they were awsome to watch. Rhett from gympie offroad said it was the best 15g's he has ever spent, which gives hope to those who don't have a quarter of million in the bank to spend on there truck. He was an awsome driver, only running 37's and the shortest wheelbase, it was pretty much all driver skill, which to me is much better to watch than a overly expensive buggy crawl through with no effort.
Bring on next year!
