Went out for some new track exploration with Squeak and Dan on the weekend. Went a little further in from the previous forum run and took a turn off down another track. Found some big hill climbs and some more fun wheeling. The hill climbs being the hardest thing for the day with slippery rock and slate. Views were nice and we found some good swimming spots and look outs along the way. Had no issues with the small mud section previously encountered. Found out where Squeak has been stealing parts for his build up..... Wheel ups for Dan Bit O Dirt hill climbing THis is your wheel up shot Squeak sorry too much Zoom.. I feel like a camera noob again... Didnt have the heart to tell you to go back down and do it again. Doing a bit of prairie dogging for some views ahead Bit of rock and sand Some more prairie dogging Some views from the side of the track Smoke season almost full on The Choo choo almost beat us back too. Not a heap of action shots as for once I thought I would ride in the 4WD up the hills and see what it was like for some one else... haha

Yeah it is, there are still the easier ones of to the right as well. Dan needed a couple goes to get up, was flexing the rear too much and lifting the front tire of the ground.

hey some of the camping spots you came across were they any good for swimming?
or do you take shotgun?
Do you think that the drive to daly river would be a day or a long weekend drive?

Do you think that the drive to daly river would be a day or a long weekend drive? They were good for swimming, we did take a shotgun, but not for that http://forum.darwin4x4.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1094 - I was a passenger on that trip took as most of the day to get through to daly river rd KrEeCha wrote: P.S. did dan or squeak take their ozi explorer? can we get track downloads? Mine broke a couple days before we went, so the first half of the trip trying to get it working.. I'm thinking it'll be a warranty job.. :S chuckwilltalk wrote: any sign of pigs further on? denis and i had a look during the forum trip near that first mud hole and there were fresh pig tracks all over the side of the mud track Plenty of sign, but still too much grass there to see anything thats runnin away from ya. Might do alright with some dogs though?
